Valerie Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli is an American actress. Her birth date was April 23, 1960[2. She first achieved recognition at the age of adolescence when she played Barbara Cooper Royer on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984) in which she was awarded the two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress for a Series, Miniseries or Television Film. Her subsequent success as an adult gained her stardom for her role as Gloria on the religious drama Touched by an Angel (2001-2003) as well as Melanie Moretti on the sitcom Hot in Cleveland (2010-2015), the latter of which earned her an Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. She was also honored in 2012 when she received with a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bertinelli signed a new deal to join Food Network in December 2021. Bertinelli has hosted numerous shows for Food Network such as Valerie's home cooking (2015-2023) as well as Children Baking Championships (2015-present). It was the first won the show two Daytime Emmy Awards out of six nominations. Bertinelli has signed a contract in the coming months with Food Network in December 2021. She was previously married to Eddie Van Halen, a rock musician, from 1981 to 2007. They share a son, Wolfgang. From 2011 to 2022 she was engaged with Tom Vitale.
